Emerald Bay and the Apple Watch

A nice bounce yesterday. Here’s the last five days:

Here’s perspective: The last five years:

This morning, it’s up. Some of my friends are buying. Some are selling. Most are doing nothing.

Apple is up after market research firm IDC said Apple’s Watch was doing well. Here’s the news:

In its first full quarter of Apple Watch sales, Apple Inc.(AAPL) debuted as the second-largest wearables company behind FitBit Inc.(FIT) , selling just 800,000 fewer units than the market leader, according to new data from IDC. Total shipment volume for wearables rose 223% to 18.1 million in the second quarter, fueled by both Apple(AAPL) and Xiaomi’s entry into the market. Apple(AAPL) sold 3.6 million watches, bringing its total market share to 20%. Xiaomi sold 3.1 million Mi Bands, bringing its share of the global wearables market to 17%, while FitBit’s(FIT) share slid to 24.3% from 30.4% a year ago.

I’m wearing my Apple Watch on our Western trip. Only one person has asked how I like it — whatever that means.

Harry Newton, who is now in Lake Tahoe. Here’s Emerald Bay, the most beautiful part of Lake Tahoe. We saw it from the road yesterday.

EmeraldBay

We’re going on  a boat cruise into Emerald Bay this morning. With places like this to see still, who cares about the stockmarket (at least for today)?

We’re staying at a hotel called The Landing. It’s in South Lake Tahoe. Our room has a heated toilet seat. I sat on it and almost burnt my sensitive tushy. It also has a  little blue light under the water in the bowel. This is presumably designed to let you admire your production. Whatever will they think of next?
