Like many others, Bespoke Investment Group has pointed out the correlation<\/a><\/strong> in the S&P 500 between this year and past election years.<\/p>\n The similarities continue to be extraordinary.<\/p>\n After correctly calling an April peak, a May\/June trough, and July’s modest pullback, the pattern would suggest that the current rally could last until the end of the Summer.<\/p>\n The Facebook saga continues:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n From Richard Russell’s latest newsletters: + <\/strong>On the Facebook front, Zuckerberg finally showed up at a FB meeting and stated to a highly excited audience, “Our goal is to help every person stay connected and every product they use be a great social experience.” Nothing was said of real interest to anxious investors who were wondering how they would get their money back — and after saying literally nothing of value, the Zuck bowed out.<\/p>\n + I continue to be fascinated by the ghastly action of Facebook. As you can see on the daily chart, FB has crashed 50% from its IPO high.<\/p>\n The IPO buyers frantically paid up to 47 and more for the IPO, and with the stock now in the 23s, The early “jump and dump” crowd must now be wondering what to do with Zuckerberg’s baby. It’s obvious that today’s holders are locked into the stock, a stock which is facing massive overhead supply. But what have we learned from this tragedy? We learn never to run with the crowd. We learn never to participate in a stock that’s being massively hyped. (MSFT) chief executive officer, had an average household retirement income of $200,431 in 2010. That puts the peninsula town at No. 1 in a Bloomberg Rankings list of 37 places with the wealthiest older residents.<\/p>\n “Most of the homes are on the water or near the water,” said Stan Humphries, chief economist at Seattle-based Zillow Inc. “It’s right across the bridge from Seattle, it’s near Microsoft, and of course it’s a very pretty place.”<\/p>\n Small, private spots such as Hunts Point that provide easy access to cities along with an island or country ambiance are among the favorite places for the nation’s wealthiest retirees, according to the ranking. Older residents of the top-ranked enclaves are flush for retirement, with incomes from pensions, savings and investments averaging more than six figures before Social Security. The list includes four cities in Florida, home to one of the world’s biggest retirement hubs.<\/p>\n Sorta obvious conclusion: <\/strong><\/span>An Irishman is cleaning his rifle and accidentally shoots his wife.
