Need to mull more this weekend."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Things I learned yesterday:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">+ Good idea to spend at least 20 minutes on each stock I own at least once a week.<br \/>\n+ If you don&#8217;t own 51% of it, you&#8217;re gambling. Hence you shouldn&#8217;t own much of it.<br \/>\n+ You can lead a horse to water, but you cannot make him drink. In simple English, that means few listen.<br \/>\n+ If they give you a reasoned explanation of why you&#8217;re full of dog doodoo, embrace them. They&#8217;re listening.<br \/>\n+ Cramer says the stockmarket is going up because Europe is coming back. It&#8217;s as good as explanation as any.<br \/>\n+ There are huge areas to stay away from, including the erstwhile high-yielding mortgage REITs. AGNC last night reported a huge loss. I&#8217;m not big on big banks because too many look like cockroach stocks, viz. JPMorgan Chase&#8217;s latest troubles. But I&#8217;ve been consistently wrong with big banks.<br \/>\n+ It&#8217;s hard to sit in front of four screens when the weather outside is so perfect.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.technologyinvestor.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/HarryNewton.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-16364\" title=\"HarryNewton\" alt=\"\" src=\"https:\/\/www.technologyinvestor.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/11\/HarryNewton.jpg\" width=\"233\" height=\"210\" \/><\/a><br \/>\nHarry Newton who warns you &#8212; Never, ever, buy a used computer. You never know what the moron did. It was probably lethal. Hence, his reason for selling it to you.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m leaving this morning for our country palace. I had wanted to to attend Buffett&#8217;s annual meeting this weekend.
