This ELISA test is not simple. <\/strong>Remember yesterday’s Novak Djokovic story? He gave up glutin, began to eat properly, strengthened his body and became the number one tennis player in the world.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Good idea, Harry. Get yourself an ELISA test. I went to my doctor. “I want an ELISA test,” I said. “Fine, which test you want?” as he handed me an inch-thick book with pages of ELISA tests. It almost seems like you need to know what you’re testing for before you test for it. There are no generic ELISA tests. The world has passed simplicity by.<\/p>\n

Anyway, we ended up testing for<\/p>\n

\nGluten F79
\nRice F9
\nRye F5<\/p>\n

I’ll have the results in a few days.<\/p>\n

Meantime one of the tests Djoko’s doctor made him do: Give up all gluten for two weeks. Writes Djoko, “As the days rolled along, I began to feel different. I felt lighter, more energetic.”<\/p>\n

At the end of the two weeks, his doctor made him eat a bagel. Djoko said he instantly felt awful. Turns out he was strongly intolerant to wheat and diary, and had a mild insensitivity to tomatoes. He obviously did more tests than I did. I may go back.<\/p>\n
