That’s a huge amount for one event. Robin Hood is the hedge fund industry’s favorite charity. Since Robin Hood was founded in 1988, it has raised more than $1.45 billion!<\/p>\n Some of this year’s monies will be used for the new Robin Hood American Dream Fund, which will support nonprofits that help immigrants and their families.<\/p>\n In October this year, Robin Hood is holding its annual two-day investor conference. Hedgies present their best ideas.<\/p>\n I went to last year’s and loved it. Tickets are $7500, and worth every penny. You can make your money back with the recommendations. You’ll also will feel good. Ticket sales\u00a0 go 100% to charities. Robin Hood is unique in that the board picks up all Robin Hood’s operating costs.
