<\/a><\/p>\nI don’t normally follow CNBCs lead. But if I hear something positive, I’ll check it out. Sometimes I’ll take a “flyer.” I took one on LOCO, but dumped it quickly as it continued its slide. Most times I check CNBC’s enthusiasms out, I reject them. A 24-hour TV channel has an urgency to produce\u00a0 positive stock picks. Not easy. I’ve been a financial reporter. I know the pressures. Today I’ll admit to playing tennis. Not then. Meantime LOCO has not done well since its IPO.<\/p>\n

The “statistics” show that around 40% of your return on stocks is dividend income. I do like dividend payers. Wooooo!’ from deep inside.<\/p>\n He also tore off his clothes and ran into the opening.<\/p>\n The Irishman wandered around in the woods alone for a while, and then spied a third large cave.\u00a0 As he looked in amazement at the size of the huge opening, he was thinking, ‘Hoo, man! Look at the size of this cave! It is bigger than those the Indians found. There must be some really big, fine women in this cave!’<\/p>\n He stood in front of the opening and hollered with all his might ‘Wooooo! Wooooo! \nHarry Newton who happily and proudly became an American\u00a0 just over 33-years ago — on January 7, 1981. I don’t remember America being as polarized as it is today. (See yesterday’s comments<\/strong><\/a>.) Then, America was paradise — a place where anyone, including an Australian newly off-the-boat and sporting a funny accent could make it, and did. I still believe in The American Dream.<\/em> A remarkable number of Americans — black and white, yellow and red have made it since. There’s still a ways to go. There are too many people in poverty. Too many people furious at the system. There’s a dysfunctional Congress incapable of addressing the problems. But we are a democracy. And things change. I remain optimistic.<\/p>\n
