Hot stocks skyrocket and plummet. Warm stocks edge up and edge down. You pick your ownership balance in line with your sanity. I made this little Excel chart showing moves yesterday in our portfolio (see right hand column):<\/p>\n

\nHarry Newton, who is increasingly impressed with Amazon. So much easier to order on-line than to suffer the glacial traffic lights in the Coachella Valley. Drive 500 yards. Stop. Drive another 500 yards. Stop. Uncoordinated traffic lights give stupidity a whole new meaning. Yet it’s been that way for the 15 years we’ve been coming here.\u00a0 No need to text-and-drive here. Plenty of time to text while you wait for the moronic lights to change.<\/p>\n

They say it’s going to rain today. I’ve never seen rain here. I wonder if the locals have as much trouble driving in the rain as Washington, DC’ers do driving in snow?<\/p>\n
