I sit aghast. Yesterday. Amazon is cratering on the day its earnings release. Some moron was panicking and dumping Amazon as if they knew the earnings later that day would be awful, ghastly, horrible…<\/p>\n

I wondered if they knew something I didn’t. Maybe all Amazon’s orders had dried up — (except mine). Maybe everybody had abandoned AWS (Amazon Web Services) for Azure? Maybe. Maybe. Maybe.<\/p>\n

I knew two things: Amazon keeps surprising and pleasing me as a customer with their constant innovation. Hence it’s a long-term holding of mine.\u00a0 I also knew you don’t mess with stocks on earnings day.<\/p>\n

Of course, now i wish I had bought $20 million worth Amazon yesterday. The results it reported are extraordinary. In fact they’re mindblowing for a company this huge size.<\/p>\n

And look what happened today:<\/p>\n

The lesson is: Don’t panic.<\/p>\n

My brother-in-law’s covid is improving, slowly<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

He says “Nobody deserves this. If I hadn’t been triple vaccinated (two plus booster) I’d probably be dead.”<\/p>\n

At one stage he felt he was being waterboarded with every breath he took…<\/p>\n

Australia has taken its foot off isolation and lockdown. Infections and deaths have skyrocketed.<\/p>\n

My sister tells me that bad symptoms that her husband in bed are appearing in young-ems — 35 to 40 year olds.<\/p>\n

How to maintain your Generac emergency generator<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

In this winter weather, the best thing you can own is a Generac generator.<\/p>\n

A Generac is an engine that makes electricity when your main electricity is knocked out — typically by a storm.<\/p>\n

The essence of a Generac generator is a car engine. It needs the same love you give your car. Which means you need a decent mechanic and you need to know how to “drive” the Generac when you have no electricity and your house is beginning to freeze.<\/p>\n

Here’s a nice simple video that addresses basic maintenance. To me, two things are key: the car battery it runs on.
