Putin will escalate in Ukraine until he gets what he wants — whatever that is.<\/p>\n

He will follow his ruthless destruction in his wars in Syria, Chechnya, and Georgia. He is now shelling civilian targets in Ukraine.<\/p>\n

What worries me is that he might use his cyberwar skills on us, shutting off our credit cards, our electricity, our Internet, our telephones, our deliveries of our daily needs.<\/p>\n

Hence we should be prepared. Here’s list of what you should have at home:<\/p>\n

+ Paper copies of your online bank and brokerage accounts. Just in case they don’t believe you.<\/p>\n

+ Cash money. If your credit cards are shut down, you’ll need cash.<\/p>\n

+ Propane. Better to have a full tank. Ditto for your cars.<\/p>\n

+ Flashlights, and batteries.<\/p>\n

+ Food –canned and energy bars, etc.<\/p>\n

+ Medicine. Whatever you need.<\/p>\n

+ Emergency generator — You can buy a small one at Tractor Supply for under $1,000. Plus gas to run it. Keep your fridge and boiler running.<\/p>\n

+ Water and filters to clean water.<\/p>\n

+Wood for the stove and fireplace<\/p>\n

+ Personal hygiene stuff — soap, paper towels, toilet paper, etc.<\/p>\n

+ Hand-cranked radio.<\/p>\n

+ Blankets, pillows and sleeping bags.<\/p>\n

+ Layers of warm clothing, raincoats, gloves, etc.<\/p>\n

+ Hardware . Screwdrivers, pliers, duct tape, pocket knife, etc.<\/p>\n

+ First aid kit.<\/p>\n

+ Extra pairs of glasses.<\/p>\n

There are a million ideas and kits out there. Try Google or Amazon.<\/p>\n
