Tennis. Jogging. Walking.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>+ Enjoy your family and your friends.<\/strong>\u00a0A long Harvard study found that people who are more socially connected to family, to friends, to community, are happier, physically healthier, and live longer.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>+ Help other people.<\/strong> Get them a small present, or a large compliment.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>+ Don\u2019t do stupid.<\/strong>\u00a0Watch for stairs. Especially the last one.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>+ Reward yourself. <\/strong>After a great seminar, Gerry Friesen, my wonderful partner, and I went to Denny&#8217;s for a chocolate milkshake. Then a second, if we did really good. (Which we always did.)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>+ Keep beating your son at tennis.<\/strong> My father started to fade the day I beat him at tennis.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>+ Enjoy doing something<\/strong> \u2014 anything \u2014 every day. Even if it\u2019s just figuring how to use WhatsApp on your iPhone or \u2014 God Forbid \u2014 writing this blog.\u00a0Which I really like doing.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">I hope some of you like reading my blog. I hope you all will be around for my 90th.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">Today, however, please enjoy my 80th.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">And please celebrate my birthday by donating to World Central Kitchen.
