The company that put a computer on every desk and in every home. The company that invented the software business model. They all empowered new competitors. But then everyone and their uncle (including Google and Microsoft) figured out how to make video calls:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-62464\" src=\"https:\/\/www.technologyinvestor.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/Zoom-5years.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"644\" height=\"391\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">+ DocuSign was another great pandemic stock. But &#8212; ask yourself &#8212; how many DocuSign docs can you sign in one lifetime?<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-62557\" src=\"https:\/\/www.technologyinvestor.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/Docusign-five-years.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"545\" height=\"338\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">There are also a zillion competitors to DocuSign. It&#8217;s in everything, especially in processed foods, fast foods (McDonalds, DQ, Burger King, etc.) and restaurant meals.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left; padding-left: 40px;\">+ Sugar is bad for your belly. They now call it a sugar belly.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left; padding-left: 40px;\">+ I like making money on the fat drugs &#8212; NVO and LLY. But I don&#8217;t want to take their drugs. The long-term effects are horrendous, allegedly.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left; padding-left: 40px;\">+ I don&#8217;t like supplements, no matter how much they spend on TV advertising. The stuff is unregulated. No one knows what&#8217;s in them. And the irmedical claims are unproven. My biggest dislikes: Prevagen and Qunol.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left; padding-left: 40px;\">+ Don&#8217;t do stupid. Like falling on the last step down. Not checking twice for traffic. Driving while sleepy.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Some of my favorite things<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px; text-align: left;\"><strong>+ YouTubeTV &#8212;<\/strong> I&#8217;m now paying $83.98 a month. But it&#8217;s worth every penny. Two basic reasons: I can watch it wherever I am\u00a0 &#8212; visiting the kids, in New York, in Columbia County. Second, it seems have an unlimited DVR. I can record anything I want and play it back whenever I want. Anything, whenever. Wow. If I play back an hour show, I can fast forward through 20 minutes of commercials. It&#8217;s a life changer.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px; text-align: left;\"><strong>+ Apple CarPlay &#8212;\u00a0<\/strong>It&#8217;s almost an iPhone in your car. Waze or Google Maps are really good on your car&#8217;s display.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px; text-align: left;\"><strong>+ Google Chrome for Windows<\/strong>. Remembers IDs and passwords, and keeps being improved.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px; text-align: left;\">+<strong> Kindle.<\/strong> Best and easiest way to read a book, highlight your most useful pieces and take notes.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px; text-align: left;\">+ <strong>The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon.<\/strong> Best\u00a0 windows laptop ever made. I hear the new Apple Macs are super great. But I&#8217;m too old to learn a new way of doing things.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px; text-align: left;\">+<strong> Fidelity Active Trader Pro.<\/strong> Beautiful software for eyeing my portfolios. That&#8217;s where all the charts in this blog come from.<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px; text-align: left;\">+<strong> Amazon Goodthreads jeans<\/strong> for under $40.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left; padding-left: 40px;\">+ T-Mobile is remarkably good.
