ASML (Advanced Semiconductor Materials Lithography) designs and makes machines used to make all manner of computer chips, from Nvidia’s GPU chips to Intel’s CPU chips and many others.<\/p>\n

Yesterday ASML reported: “While there continue to be strong developments and upside potential in AI, other market segments are taking longer to recover. It now appears the recovery is more gradual than previously expected. This is expected to continue in 2025, which is leading to customer cautiousness….”<\/p>\n

As a result, ASML tanked.<\/p>\n

Nvidia also dropped, but not as much.<\/p>\n

Demand for Nvidia’s chips (and other GPU lookalikes) continues through the roof. Demand for\u00a0 Blackwell is off the charts.<\/p>\n

Hence NVDA will recover from ASML’s bad words.<\/p>\n

Do not do stupid. Like sell Nvidia.<\/p>\n

The Economist just said the U.S. economy is the envy of the world. I’m on an Amtrak train coming into New York City. It’s hard to get a seat. Many Amtraks are completely sold out. The Amtrak parking lot at Hudson NY is completely full. Amtrak is adding extra passenger cars. My train is 50% larger than it usually is.<\/p>\n

Who knew that Amtrak (government-run) could run their business as a business! I’m proud of them.<\/p>\n
