Tesla car sales in Europe are plummeting. France and Germany are showing over 50% drops.<\/p>\n

Car sales here are about to plummet as American consumers realize the massive damage that Elon Musk is doing to the American economy.<\/p>\n

American farmers sell the U.S.A.I.D $2 billion of farm crops each year\u00a0 — some of which is now rotting on wharves and in transport as USAID workers are jobless and not moving the crops. Thank you Elon.<\/p>\n

News I found: Tesla delivered 1.79 million<\/b> vehicles worldwide in 2024 \u2013 1.1% fewer than in 2023.<\/strong> The figure marks the company’s first-ever annual sales drop,<\/strong> The New York Times reports. Tesla commanded less than half the electric vehicle (EV) market for much of 2024, as more competitors released new electric cars than ever before. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Chinese competitors are ramping up big time — especially in Europe. We haven’t seen the onslaught of Chinese EVs into the U.S. — yet. Chinese EVs are remarkably appealing, says my son, Michael, who lives in Amsterdam.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The last three months have not looked great for Tesla’s stock. The “Election Bloom” has disappeared for the reality of the ill-will Musk is creating for himself and his cars.<\/p>\n

Don’t believe me about the ill-will? Google “Demonstrations Against Musk.<\/em>” Look what you get this morning:<\/p>\n

Elon is trying “The Twitter Strategy” with the U.S. government; Fire as many people as possible. Run a learner, more profitable operation. Sadly, the U.S. Government is not an online app. It has to do real things — like build roads, send social security checks, pay seniors’ medical bills.<\/p>\n

The Federal government employs around three million people. It is not the paragon of virtue or efficiency. Wasn’t that the job of the Inspectors General? Oops…Trump fired them.<\/p>\n

I don’t see anything positive for Tesla shares coming up. And the shares are falling from their December 17 high.<\/p>\n

There are better shares around. My top % gainers are now META, NVDA, GRAL, and NFLX.<\/p>\n

I listened to Amazon’s earnings call last\u00a0 night. It was engrossing. Here’s one of the slides. Amazing growth, given that AWS is already so large:<\/p>\n

AMZN may fall a little this morning, making it cheaper to buy.<\/p>\n
