The other 90 million have no air-raid shelters, no sirens to warn them of your bombs, limited water, intermittent electricity and (recently) no Internet. These 90 million people have suffered 47 years of a brutally repressive regime. with many of their friends killed or jailed.<\/p>\n
We are only prolonging their agony with our bombing and giving their regime more excuses for their brutal repression. And we’re giving 90 million Iranians a reason to hate Americans — you and me.<\/p>\n
Meantime we’ve lost planes and helicopters that cost over $1 billion, We’re spending at least $1 billion a day on this war without end, or purpose.<\/p>\n
They have agreed to open the Strait and charge a toll — to be used for repairing damage we caused.<\/p>\n
We are now putting boots on the ground and turning this into the quagmires that were Vietnam, Afghanistan and Iraq.<\/p>\n
Dear President Trump, you are threatening the “Complete Demolition” of a wonderful Persian civilization. A civilization that gave us so many wonderful inventions and so much delightful culture.<\/p>\n
Why are waging this War? For what purpose?<\/p>\n
To change a regime we can’t change.<\/p>\n
To open a waterway that’s already open, if you pay.<\/p>\n
