Three people on the cruise ship died. Another nine to 11 cases have been reported.<\/p>\n

Several people left the ship before they got sick. They could now be anywhere.<\/p>\n

Hantavirus has a one to eight week incubation. Symptoms can take as long as 42 weeks before they appear.<\/p>\n

1.2 million Americans died of COVID-19.<\/p>\n

There is no vaccine for Hantavirus.<\/p>\n

The Trump Administration has denuded the CDC of resources and critical people, i.e. seriously reduced its ability to deal with viruses.<\/p>\n

Hantavirus is spread through the air, like COVID-19.<\/p>\n

If you get Hantavirus, you could die.<\/p>\n

Experts, however, are sanguine about the Hantavirus:<\/p>\n

President Trump stated the U.S. is “in very good shape” and being “very careful” regarding a Hantavirus outbreak stemming from a South Atlantic cruise ship. He described the situation as “very much, we hope, under control,” noting the virus is hard to spread and the administration is doing its best to prevent a U.S. outbreak.<\/p>\n

We heard the same patter from him on Covid.<\/p>\n

I’m less sanguine:<\/p>\n

Hence,<\/p>\n

+ Keep away from indoor crowds.<\/p>\n

+ Wear a mask if you can’t avoid being with other people — like on planes, etc.<\/p>\n

+ Observe the old 6 foot safety zone.<\/p>\n

Eyeing my huge portfolio you will say “Harry has drunk the AI Kool-Aid.<\/em>” If you have also dropped down the AI rabbit hole — think Alice who’s now ten feet tall — my holdings will make sense. There are at least 11 stocks I own with a P\/E well into three digits (i.e. over 100).\u00a0 Ciena leads with a P\/E of 369. There are also 17 whose P\/E is zero. These 17 require a second large gulp of Kool-Aid.<\/p>\n

Most of my stocks have been ascending nicely, with STX, MU and KLAC the top % gainers. NVDA is the biggest dollar gainer, with GOOGL right behind. I think Google is a huge long-term winner. I love its Gemini AI.<\/p>\n

Today opened down big, but then bounced back hugely. That made me feel good.<\/p>\n
