8:30 AM Thursday, December 8, 2005: Last night, cocktail party and dinner for investors loaning money to real estate developers in the west. Neat putting faces on all the checkbooks. But also exhausting. Which is why I'm going back to bed. It's 4:30 AM, a time only prisoners and serious nutcases should be awake. Coming back today. From San Diego to New York, only $113 with JetBlue. Much less than last night's dinner, or the wine at last night's dinner. See you tomorrow.
