Waiting on Bernanke. Will he be like Godot?

One day up. The next day down. It’s Bernanke’s market. I buy a little when it falls. I sell a little when it rises.

I fluked Netflix yesterday. It jumped after I stated my intention in yesterday’s column to sell it (which I did). By all value measures Netflix is hideously overpriced. But it’s got momentum, for now.

We’re waiting on Bernanke’s remarks tomorrow. Will he? Won’t he?

This is the business to be in. They’re overwhelmed with demand — they keep you waiting forever on the phone. And their prices are outrageous/ Vinyl is cheap. You want quality poly? It’ll cost you $90.

There are lots of these specialty products which you can’t find at your local Home Depot but sell really well online. Another one: table legs.

My favorite desk tool: It cleans keyboards and desks. Best investment in years.

I’m serious when I ask, Why not just buy Wells Fargo, Coke, IBM, AMEX, & PG and get the dividends? Why just a pure play on the stock price of BRK? Because volatility is damped by the Buffett name? Because BRK bought KO at a better price you can get it? But then BRK has run up a huge % already this year. FAR outpacing KO. Why not just wait for dips and pick and hold what you like from the BRK pool and get dividends?
