China had a huge Christmas day, up nearly 3% and wiping out its 2012 losses.
Out American Fiscal Cliff is still there. None of us know what we will pay in taxes in 2013. And we voted for them.
Who cares? No one in France even knows what they will pay in taxes for 2012.
Our family came from Melbourne, Australia, Portland, Oregon and Boston, bearing gifts, good cheer, and goodwill.
They were all wonderful.
The Economist says Melbourne is the most liveable city in the world.
We had a white Christmas. Some of us ran in the gym. Some outside. Some played tennis. Exercise makes room for the next delicious meal.

I’ve exhausted my collection of bad Jewish Christmas jokes. Some of the family hadn’t heard them. That was gratifying. The rest of the family dutifully groaned.
Today we need to find a bank with a notary public, 25 witnesses and get our two-inch thick pile of estate planning docs signed.
That will give excitement a whole new meaning.

It’s a 3-headed flashlight. You can tilt any one of 3 to an angle.
Three VERY bright LEDs.
It has a built-in tripod, so it won’t fall over when you’re trying to replace a light switch in the darkened room (because the breaker is flipped off for safety!)
Then, you can take one or all 3 from the tripod and use them separately. Very clever design.
My only negative is it’s all plastic. I suppose this is the flashlight Maglight should’ve made about 5 years ago. In metal.
