A simple choice: Good design versus lousy design

This is the Apple Watch.

This is Time Warner’s latest TV remote.  It has unlabeled buttons that no one has ever figured out what they do. It gives idiocy in a design a whole new meaning.

Which one would you rather “wear” on your wrist?

I believe good design sells, and will sell the Apple Watch.

Meantime, AAPL is edging back because a bunch of morons on Wall Street are writing that no one will buy the Apple Watch.

They’re wrong.

Updated portfolio. A bunch of stocks I like and own fell off the chart on the right. Thank you, The Cloud God.

They’re back there now.

I bought some more HON this morning after hearing its ebullient CEO on Cramer last night.

If you missed Netanyahu’s speech before Congress, you can read it and/or watch it here.

Harry Newton is rushing to play tennis. The low voltage electricians are coming this morning. Hopefully, we’ll finally get the alarm, the Internet, the cell and landline phones, the Internet and coaxial cable etc. working intelligently. This stuff is crazy making. I wish Time Warner were better. But they’re not. They’re awful. Everyone is waxing lyrically on DirecTV.

Time Warner is better than Cox. I’m not saying Time Warner is good, it’s awful, just not as awful as Cox.
