I need time off today. Got to catch up on paperwork. Get some real thinking done.
Had a charity event last night that went on too long, and wiped me out. But they raised more money than they’ve ever raised in one evening — by a huge margin. And yet, several years ago, the charity was on its last legs (despite doing great work).
The economy is clearly coming back. There is big money around. Some companies are doing ultra-well. Others not so. Cramer raved on last night about PPG and ETN. True, their charts look exemplary.
But their charts also look “toppy.”
There are strong arguments that it will continue — money flowing in because there’s no where else to put it. And strong arguments for stock prices looking toppy.
Need to mull, research and catch up today.
I’ll be back tomorrow.

Harry Newton whose recommendations — see chart in right hand column — are doing OK, some even spectacularly.
