Shortly after a British Airways flight had reached its cruising altitude, the captain announced: “Ladies and Gentlemen, this is your captain. Welcome to Flight 293, from London Heathrow to New York. The weather ahead is good, so we should have a smooth uneventful flight. So, sit back, relax, and………OH… MY GOD!”
Silence followed.
Some moments later, the captain came back on the intercom. “Ladies and Gentlemen, Im sorry if I scared you. While I was talking to you, a flight attendant accidentally spilled coffee in my lap. You should see the front of my pants!”
From the back of the plane, an Irish passenger yelled…….”For the luvva Jaysus……you should see the back of mine!”

Many years ago while flying from NYC to somewhere, the flight attendant passed a hot cup of coffee to the old lady sitting next to the window, next to me. You guessed it, the lady dropped the boiling coffee in my lap! The attendant grabbed a rag to help mop it up, realized it was my lap and she might not want to do the mopping and embarrassedly handed me the rag…once she got me off the roof. P.S. Coffee is hot – ask me how I know.
I believe the Malaysia Airlines ad is a gag…a tasteless one.
