I take heart from this chart of the S&P 500 over the past year. The trend is up, though the ups and downs are not good for my sanity. The chart soothes my nerves.
Apple (AAPL) and Facebook (FB) are two favs at present.
Apple will bust out of $130 soon — maybe when I finally get my new Apple Watch.
Facebook is doing a much better job monetizing its huge user base. Twitter hasn’t figured how. Which you can figure, since Facebook knows a lot more about its users and what they like than Twitter ever will.
Nice new Mexican hotel. Recently “discovered,” but only after my friend Todd scheduled his daughter’s “destination” wedding there.
