Why I’m so happy this morning

It’s Tuesday morning: I’m stting  in a CVS waiting Medicare’s computer to come back up so I can get my  booster shot of Moderna. This gives boredom a whole new meaning. …

Miracle. Medicare came back. I got my shot. I’m sitting here for the required ten minutes. I’m uploading this blog using the Personal Hotspot on my iPhone.

Yesterday was awful. It bounced in the afternoon. And should bounce today.

+ The Great News is that Pfizer and BioNTech say their COVID-19 vaccine is safe and effective for children ages 5-11. The companies just released trial results showing the shots are safe for children and establish a strong antibody response against the virus. Moderna is right behind.

Play this and get over how awful yesterday was:

I”m not trying to time this — by selling or buying stocks. I’m not that good.

Sitting through this makes the most sense — for me and for you.

The economy is good. The stock market will all come back.

Mask of the year. I love stupid innovation.

The saga of my Miele dishwashers

We ordered two last March to replace the two ageing ones we now have.

We’re now told maybe February next year. Maybe. 12 months wait on dishwasher!

Meantime, YouTube to the rescue. Oodles of video on how fix Mieles. I follow the bouncing ball. Behold, my 15-year old Mieles appear to be working. One had a piece of glass blocking its innards. The other, excessive gunk. Today I order replacement parts. The videos showed where I could find the part number.

I’ll get another 15-year life out of these suckers. Screw Miele.

This is my tree today

Here’s the “fruit.” Pretty? Can I eat it?

I”ll re-send this blog later today with jokes.

But for now, I wanted to let everyone know I have my Moderna booster shot, I played tennis morning, the sky is bright blue, it’s in the mid-sixties… The family is in great shape.

I couldn’t  be happier. I hope you, too.
