The most important podcast you’ll ever listen to. What’s wrong with Elon Musk? Seriously. Something is really wrong with him.

Michael, my son, the genius, turned me onto this podcast:

The podcast is over two hours. I’ve listened to half. I will listen to the remainder once I’ve posted this blog.

As a result of what I heard this morning, I increased my holdings in META, GOOGL and, of course, Nvidia (NVDA).

One spectacular quote from the podcast:

Nvidia has completely reinvented the notion of what a computer is.

That’s not an exaggeration. I’ll tell you more tomorrow. For now grab a copy of the podcast and start listening. It may be your most important investing podcast ever.

The Apple Show starts at 1 PM eastern time, 10 AM PDT. They’re introducing the iPhone 15, which I will buy.

The Apple Show is in about half an hour.

This book is out today

It’s disturbing. Elon has a “plan” to end the Ukraine War — do a deal where Russia keeps part of Ukraine.

Meanwhile, he is hogtieing Ukraine by selectively cutting off their access to his satellite communications company called Starlink, which Ukraine’s military uses intensively. By cutting them off, Musk stopped Ukraine from destroying some Russian warships. That’s a nice  present from Musk to Putin, whom he talks to!

I repeat Musk talks to Putin.

Musk is running his own State Department in competition to the one we have in Washington.

He is also allowing (encouraging?) Twitter (now called X) to post vicious anti-Semitic material. It’s really awful stuff.

I used to admire Elon’s creativity. He’s self-made. He’s the richest man in the world, with huge tech advances under his belt.

But now, I’m dismayed and disgusted. Thoroughly disgusted.

He was once one of my heroes. He’s now one of my arch-villains.

You can buy Isaacson’s book here.

You can listen to this alarming podcast on the New Yorker site:

You can also watch some highlights from last night’s Rachel Maddow show which featured Elon.

One of the benefits of YouTubeTV is that you  can tell it which shows to record. And it will record them in their entirety. There’s no limit apparently.

With YouTubeTV, there is absolutely no reason — and I repeat absolutely no reason — for anyone to subscribe to a cable TV provider like DirecTV, Spectrum or Verizon or whoever. With a decent  high-speed Internet connection, you can stream YouTubeTV to several TV sets and laptops in your home.

YouTubeTV is the greatest invention since blue suede shoes.

I’ll be back tomorrow. If you missed yesterday’s blog, click here.

It contains this teary video (which all my readers love).

Life is wonderful. I did a couple of nice backhands this morning. — Harry Newton
