The people you’re trying to obliterate, the regime, have their own hardened bunkers, Generacs and wells with plentiful water.
The other 90 million have no air-raid shelters, no sirens to warn them of your bombs, limited water, intermittent electricity and (recently) no Internet. These 90 million people have suffered 47 years of a brutally repressive regime. with many of their friends killed or jailed.
We are only prolonging their agony with our bombing and giving their regime more excuses for their brutal repression. And we’re giving 90 million Iranians a reason to hate Americans — you and me.
Meantime we’ve lost planes and helicopters that cost over $1 billion, We’re spending at least $1 billion a day on this war without end, or purpose.
They have agreed to open the Strait and charge a toll — to be used for repairing damage we caused.
We are now putting boots on the ground and turning this into the quagmires that were Vietnam, Afghanistan and Iraq.
Dear President Trump, you are threatening the “Complete Demolition” of a wonderful Persian civilization. A civilization that gave us so many wonderful inventions and so much delightful culture.
Why are waging this War? For what purpose?
To change a regime we can’t change.
To open a waterway that’s already open, if you pay.
