Have you lost your mind??? your daughter in law is not handsome…….. she is beautiful………. men are handsome…. not women…………..
This is a real problem. I originally wrote “beautiful,” which she is. Then I thought, she's also super-intelligent and super-wonderful and fits the gamily like a glove. And I love her dearly. But I thought, if I wrote “beautiful,” I'd be accused of focusing on only one of her many attributes. I''d be accused of being sexist and non-PC and all those silly things in today's society.Hence I wrote “handsome.” It's not an easy world.
